Class Overview
This advanced level carbine course covers transitioning from Carbine to pistol during both daytime and nighttime evolutions and includes team drills, decision making and movement.

Equipment
- Carbine in good working order*
- Sling (1 or 2 point)
- At least 3 magazines for rifle
- Optics (optional)
- Pistol in good working order*
- At least 3 magazines for pistol
- Durable handheld flashlight with spare batteries
- Weapon mounted lights for both rifle and pistol are highly recommended
- Clear glasses for night shoot
- Cleaning kit (optional)
- 350 rifle rounds (depending on availability – those with less will still be able to fully participate)
- 100 pistol rounds
*Rental firearms are available for every class we offer, but we do need to know ahead of time in order to have one ready for you. Please make sure to indicate your need to rent a firearm when you sign up for a class.

Prerequisites:
Handgun 2 is a prerequisite because this class includes transitions between your rifle and handgun. We need to make sure you have competence with both weapon systems.
If you have not completed the prerequisite class with ITTS, but you have prior formal training that was recent and comprable in both subject matter and duration, contact us to discuss your candidacy for this class. Your prior training will need to have been from a qualified and verifiable source that meets our school’s standards.
LEO & Military may be exempt from this prerequisite. Contact us to discuss.
