Class Overview
This 1-day advanced low-level light class progresses the student to the highest level of proficiency with the shotgun. Students will receive a brief review of from Shotgun II and an opportunity to brush up on handgun skills before moving onto a bevy of our most advanced target systems, all while balancing the use of both weapons. This class is for students who want to run their shotgun hard and push themselves even harder!
By the end of this class students will have a newfound confidence in the manipulation of the shotgun, how to incorporate a pistol, and capabilities with both will be greatly increased.
Subjects
- Review of Shotgun II and pistol skills
- Pistol transitions
- Working with barricades
- Low level light varied position shooting
- Hostage resolution II
- Advanced transitional drills with Clanks (optional)
- High speed ITTS moving target system
Equipment
- Shotgun in good working condition
- Pistol cleaned and oiled
- Sling
- 100 rounds of Birdshot
- 10 rounds of Buckshot (If you can’t find anywhere to purchase buckshot you will still be able to fully participate)
- 10 Slugs (If you can’t find anywhere to purchase slugs you will still be able to fully participate)
- 100 rounds of handgun ammunition
- Eye and ear protection
- Clear glasses for night shoot
- Flashlight with spare batteries
Please note that WE DO NOT ALLOW THE USE OF STEEL SHOT on our range. If you’re unsure as to what type of ammo you have please contact us.
*Rental firearms are available for every class we offer, but we do need to know ahead of time in order to have one ready for you. Please make sure to indicate your need to rent a firearm when you sign up for a class.

Prerequisites:
Handgun 2 is a prerequisite because this class includes transitions between your shotgun and handgun. We need to make sure you have competence with both weapon systems.
If you have not completed the prerequisite class with ITTS, but you have prior formal training that was recent and comprable in both subject matter and duration, contact us to discuss your candidacy for this class. Your prior training will need to have been from a qualified and verifiable source that meets our school’s standards.
LEO & Military may be exempt from this prerequisite. Contact us to discuss.
